Bring Back the Throwback #1

This is our first look at teams that have recently worn a throwback uniform as their alternate uniform, and whether or not they should keep the alternate look.

The first team we will look at is the Buffalo Bills. They have been wearing a throwback uniform as their alternate for a couple years now. Each year there is talk about how the Bills should change back to the throwbacks. I couldn’t agree more. What do you think?

What makes the throwback so popular? The clean design? Stripes? Tradition? If you like the current design, why do you like it so much? Flashy? Darker colors?

History: In 2005, the Bills revived the standing bison helmet and uniform of the mid-1960s as a throwback uniform.

i'm not a bills fan, but i do like those throwbacks. the newer version and even the jim kelly era uniforms are no match for those throwbacks. slick with some classic style

They should definitely stick to their throwbacks, then use the early 90s unis as the alternate once a year. I love their throwbacks, especially the away jerseys

Absolutely go back to the originals. Since they changed the uniforms starting in the mid 70's they have steadily gotten worse(we are currently at the worse point in the franchise as far as I'm concerned). As a life long Bills fan going back to the throwbacks would be a dream come true. After all even the Sabres finally saw the light!

Nice. I really like the Bills' throwback uniforms. I think their current unis and the ones from the 1980's blew: http://www.80sfootball.com/home/top-5-ugliest-1980s-uniforms.html
